Tuban, newsantara24.com – The Tuban District Attorney’s Office (Kejari) Summons Several Witnesses In order to develop the investigation by the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office regarding the alleged corruption case of Chromebook procurement during the era of Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology by Nadiem Makarim.
The Tuban District Attorney’s Office has conducted examinations of witnesses from Monday, August 11, 2025 to Friday, August 15, 2025.
When confirmed, Head of Special Crimes Section Yogi Natanael Ch said, “The Tuban District Attorney’s Office investigators have summoned and examined several former officials of the Tuban Regency Education Office, several Commitment Making Officers (PPK), and 10 school principals who received Chromebook devices in the procurement of the Education Digitalization Program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) 2019-2022,” said Yogi Natanael Ch.
“During their investigation, Tuban District Attorney’s investigators have confiscated a number of procurement documents, where the examination was carried out based on an Investigation Order from the Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia,” added Yogi Natanael Ch.
Furthermore, all investigation progress and confiscated evidence will be reported and submitted to the Investigation Team of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia through the Investigation Team at the East Java High Prosecutor’s Office.
